Trains...
Bath
is well served by rail. The station is called
BATH SPA and there are frequent high-speed
connections to and from London Paddington.
There is a slower, but likely to be cheaper
service, from London Waterloo.
Major
cities such as Birmingham and Manchester have
frequent services via Bristol. The south coast
ports of Southampton and Portsmouth have
direct services by train.

Coach...
National
Express operates a regular coach service from
London Victoria and a direct service from
Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The
dropping-off point is at the bus station next
to Bath Spa railway station. For the

Car...
From
Bristol:
Take
the A4 into Bath. For a day visit to Bath, we
recommend Newbridge Park and Ride, which is on
the A4 just after the bridge across the River
Avon or park in the city centre,
continue along the A4 to Charlotte Street car
park. This is the largest car park in Bath and
is clearly marked on approach roads. This car
park is on the other side of Victoria Park and
is the nearest to
the Royal Crescent.
From
the M4 (South West or East):
Leave
the M4 at Junction 18 and take the A46 towards
Bath. For a day visit to Bath, we recommend
Lansdown Park and Ride, clearly signposted
from the A46/A420 junction at Cold Ashton.
Alternatively, follow the brown traffic signs
saying 'Roman Baths' along the A46 and A4 to
Bath and then the Roman helmet symbol to
Charlotte Street car park. This car park is on
the other side of Victoria Park and is the
closest to the Royal Crescent.
From
Salisbury:
Take
the A36 into Bath and follow the signs that
lead to Charlotte Street car park. This car
park is on the other side of Victoria Park
nearest to
the Royal Crescent.
